Jayne

Jayne Mansfield

Jayne Mansfield was a very successful pin-up and became a huge star after signing with Warner Brothers in 1955. She was always compared to Marilyn Monroe often being referred to as the blonde bombshell’s “naughtier version. Monroe, was not a fan of the comparison stating: “I know it’s supposed to be flattering to be imitated, but she does it so grossly, so vulgarly — I wish I had some legal means to sue her.” Whatever you think about Monroe V. Mansfield, Jayne’s star cannot be denied.

Bettie Page

Bettie page was often called “the queen of pinups.” Much different from the traditional pin-ups of the era, she was known for her “naughty-yet-nice, simple-yet-exotic” look. Her signature black bangs and liberated strong female persona slipped the girl next door paradigm and made her an enduring influence that still stands strong today.
